Around the Base
The objects around the base include some of the great engineers master pieces including the Box Tunnel, Clifton Suspension Bridge, a steam locomotive and the bow of the SS Great Britain.
The etch around the base reads - "THE MAN WHO BUILT THE WORLD" - the title of the 2005 book by Steven Brindle.
